Really good spot in the cut. We were seated right away. And everything tasted great, our food came out with in 15mins and was fresh. Staff were great and quick to assist. Price friendly for sure. I'd suggest checking them of your breakfast list.

Our first time visiting Matt’s Big Breakfast from Miami and we were blown away! The service was incredibly fast and friendly—everyone was super attentive, always checking in to make sure we were okay. The food was absolutely amazing, and the prices were very reasonable. Everything we tried was delicious. I got the avocado toast & my husband got the special for the day. We would definitely come back here again!

Having visited a number of times previously, I was really looking for to dining here on return trip to Phoenix. The food and service didn't disappoint. I opted for a cheddar cheese omelette with accompanying home fries, sourdough toast and jam. Wow. The omelette was cooked beautifully, the potatoes were super tasty with onion & rosemary and the toast was crispy on the outside yet fluffy and soft inside. The strawberry jam was homemade and delicious, so much better than from a jar. I also opted to try the honey lemonade. Once again, there is was disappointment here! It was a BIG glass of deliciousness. Service was warm and friendly and quick & efficient. You know a place is good when 'locals' dine there...and there were lots of locals in there. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this diner. Thank you, again.

The staff are quick, friendly, and attentive. We both really enjoyed our meals. The French toast is a must, but it is a lot for one person. We also enjoyed the grain breakfast bowl. It doesn’t have a ton of flavor, but I added a little bit sauce and it was perfect. My only complaint is how loud it gets. There doesn’t seem to be any noise absorbing decor and it can make it hard to hear whoever you are with.

Big Matt knows what’s up! My family was impressed with the food and staff. I haven’t witnessed a staff that works together as well as Big Matt’s. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and quick. The food was delicious. This was our first visit and we went with the breakfast burrito, the 5 spot platter, and short stack of blueberry pancakes (a local favorite). I tried the Skinny which was light and healthy, I felt it was missing carbs (purposely) but you can add home fries. The only other thing missing was a gourmet coffee menu, but there’s plenty of shops around town. Big Mikes prides themselves on fresh, local ingredients. Try the orange juice, voted best we’ve ever had! I give five stars for the staff and flavor, but I would give 3 stars for the voice level. If you or a member of your party have sensory issues, this might not be your place. The metal chairs are a constant noise against the concrete floors. Keep that in mind for sensory sensitive guests. It was a bit of an over stimulation for me.

Yesterday, I looked for a breakfast spot and found Matt’s Big Breakfast. After landing in Phoenix, we headed there. Rachel welcomed us, took our orders, and took good care of us. Hubby and I had coffee and Dad had orange juice. I ordered Blueberry Pancakes with a side of bacon. Hubby had the Corn Beef Hash with sunny side up eggs and sourdough toast. Dad had the Basics with 2 scrambled eggs, hash brown, and wheat toast. Everything was wonderfully prepared. Highly recommend a stop at this place.
